Every tier reads the same dataset from the same endpoints. The only thing that changes is how much you can ask for, and how fast. Limits reset daily at 00:00 UTC and monthly on your billing date.

How many requests will you actually use?
Most people over-buy because they budget per card instead of per call. One batch request can carry up to 200 cards, so the arithmetic is usually kinder than it looks.
- A collection tracker
- 5,000 tracked cards refreshed once a day, batched 100 at a time, is 50 requests a day. That fits inside Starter with room to spare.
- A storefront repricing nightly
- A 20,000-card catalogue repriced every night in 100-card batches is 200 requests a day, roughly 6,000 a month. Starter covers it; Professional gives you headroom to reprice more often.
- A market scanner
- Scanners are usually bounded by the per-minute limit rather than the monthly one. If you are sweeping sets on a loop, size on requests per minute first.
Usage is visible in your dashboard in real time, and every response carries your remaining allowance. If you outgrow a plan mid-month, upgrading takes effect immediately. See the rate limits documentation for reset times and retry guidance.
Pricing questions, answered
The things developers ask us before they pick a plan. No reading check required.
- What counts as a request?
- One HTTP call to a JustTCG endpoint is one request, whatever it returns. A batch
POST /cardsthat fetches 100 cards still costs a single request, which is why batching is the cheapest way to reprice a large inventory. - Is the free tier really free?
- Yes, and it needs no credit card. You get 1,000 requests a month, capped at 100 a day and 10 a minute, with access to every game and every endpoint. The free tier is for personal and non-commercial use; shipping a commercial product means moving to a paid plan.
- What happens when I hit a limit?
- Exceeding the per-minute limit returns
429 Too Many Requests; back off and retry. Exceeding your monthly allowance means upgrading to continue. Nothing is silently truncated and nothing overage-bills you by surprise. - Is Enterprise unlimited?
- No. Enterprise is metered like every other tier, at 500,000 requests a month, 50,000 a day, and 500 a minute. What it adds is headroom, 200-card batches, priority routing, and direct support. If you need more than that, talk to us.
- Do the prices include tax?
- No. All prices are in USD and exclusive of sales tax. Tax is calculated at checkout based on your billing location, so the total you pay depends on where you are.
- Can I change or cancel my plan?
- Any time, from your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately so you are not stuck waiting out a billing cycle, and cancelling stops the next renewal.
- Can I use the data in a product I sell?
- Yes, on any paid plan. A commercial license is written into the Terms, so you can show prices to your users, build analytics on top of the data, and cache it server-side. Read the commercial use guidelines for the boundaries.
